Danielle Intile Tait was drawn to photography from a young age. She used to pour over old
photographs of her parents and grandparents, completely taken by the images
and the stories they told. Now as a professional photographer, Danielle loves
photographing people who are passionate about what they do, and is most at home
behind the camera when she’s capturing these unscripted moments.
After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA, Danielle began
working as an Atelierista at a school using the Reggio Emilia Approach. Part of her
job was to document the lives of the children. She found a way to go unnoticed so
she could get the true expressions of the children as they explored the world around
them.
Danielle still photographs this way, without too much interruption. She strives
to capture who people really are, instead of the posed smiles people put on for
the camera. She says, “What I love about portrait photography is being able to tell
people’s stories through my photographs. I’m truly blessed and honored that people
invite me into their lives to capture what is most important to them.”
Danielle lives in Western Massachusetts with her two children. She
launched her own photography business in 2010, and has worked in the industry
for over 20 years. She’s willing to travel to photograph you in your best element.
